Eat, Sleep, School

The past couple of weeks have been busy. Since school has been very hectic, we have not had much of an opportunity to get out much. Some of the events that have kept us busy include parent-teacher conferences, school literature week, several sporting events, and some tours of our new school for next year.

Adan has stayed very busy with athletics. He has been coordinating all the middle school basketball games both home and away. Additionally, he has done this for the badminton squad and help with assistant coaching. It will be two more weeks before things settle down and all the sport seasons end.

Pazi is working away with her pre-school class. It seems like her class keeps growing! She is up to sixteen students! In addition, she is the after school program's Spanish teacher. This entails teaching Spanish classes to 5-11 year olds. Some of kids are very dedicated and are picking up the language fast.

Both of us have become very involved in the construction process of our school's new facility. Pazi is currently on a committee for designing the building's interior, particularly for the pre-school and lower elementary aged students. Adan's role is to make sure that several of the school's amenities come out as planned. They include: two indoor gymnasiums, two locker rooms with showers, weight/exercise room, track and soccer field, outdoor basketball court, and two tennis courts.

As you can tell these things, as well as our regular teaching duties, have us on the go!
